The Field is part meditation circle, part spiritual lectures, part therapeutic writing group and part community space. For artists, highly sensitive people, meditators, writers and anyone seeking an accessible way to engage with their own internal landscape. To keep the group intimate, enrollment will be capped at 12 participants.
Informed by the evidence-based modality Internal Family Systems (IFS) also known as “parts work”, stream-of-consciousness writing exercises, and pranayama (breathwork) — The Field is a group which integrates the modalities which have most served me in my own healing process.

Meet your facilitator, Hannah.
Hi there, you’re likely here because my work on Meeting Myself Again found you. My name is Hannah Ciordas and know that I feel so blessed to have you here. I am beyond excited to share my first live virtual offering, The Field.
The Field is a compilation of the core lessons that I have integrated on my own healing journey. The Field is not just lessons though, each chapter of our work together is an embodied meditation experiences. You will be guided through to meet yourself at a deeper level, to better understand core wounds, limiting beliefs, and top ultimately open up lines of communication with yourself, for the purpose of expansion.
In my work as a therapist, I met clients who often felt stuck by the limits of talk therapy. Though they could intellectually understand where their issues came from, they were unable to experience resolve or release. “Now what?” they would ask me, after we had psychoanalyzed their issues to the moon in back. Indeed, now what.
As a clinician, my practice transformed when I began integrating interactive meditation and visualization into sessions, intuitively guiding my clients and creating a different kind of healing container. What I found was the places that were stuck began to open. Clients would open their eyes and find their ability to conceptualize a situation completely changed.
I have chosen to distill this program down into eight chapters, eight sessions, creating a core curriculum of the most potent and necessary explorations which have supported my own process.
My hope is that these sessions can be allies for you, a source of community connection and a catalyst towards living as the best possible version of you.

THE SCIENCE OF MEDITATION
The benefits of meditation are well-researched and profound.
Meditation enhances emotional intelligence. People with increased emotional intelligence have been found to suffer less subjective stress and experience better health and well-being.
Meditation has been correlated with reduced blood pressure, reduced insomnia, reduced pain, recovery from substance use disorders, management of PTSD symptoms, and improvement of the mental health in people with cancer.
Meditation has been found to improve the severity of depression, anxiety and stress.
It has been proposed that mindfulness meditation may have positive effects on the length of telomeres—a biomarker for the natural aging process.
