The Field is an in-person extension of my work as an intuitive and spiritually oriented writer.
The Field is part meditation group, part spiritual talks, and part community. This group is for artists, healers, highly sensitive people, meditators, writers and those called towards inner bonding.
Informed by the evidence-based modality Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed visualization techniques, the writing exercises which inform my own practice, and breathwork — The Field is a group which integrates the modalities which have most served me in my own healing process.
The theme for this season of The Field is forgiveness.
We will explore forgiveness in relation to the Self, parents, releasing guilt & shame, inner child(ren), relationships, judgment, innocence, freedom and empowerment. Our experience together as a group will be unique and customized to suit the resonant and emerging needs of our members—what is received from our work together will be different every session.

Meet your facilitator, Hannah.
Hi there, you’re likely here because my work on Meeting Myself Again found you. My name is Hannah Ciordas and know that I feel so blessed to have you here. I am beyond excited to share my first live virtual offering, The Field.
The Field is a compilation of the core lessons that I have integrated on my own healing journey. The Field is not just lessons though, each chapter of our work together is an embodied meditation experiences. You will be guided through to meet yourself at a deeper level, to better understand core wounds, limiting beliefs, and top ultimately open up lines of communication with yourself, for the purpose of expansion.
In my work as a therapist, I met clients who often felt stuck by the limits of talk therapy. Though they could intellectually understand where their issues came from, they were unable to experience resolve or release. “Now what?” they would ask me, after we had psychoanalyzed their issues to the moon in back. Indeed, now what.
As a clinician, my practice transformed when I began integrating interactive meditation and visualization into sessions, intuitively guiding my clients and creating a different kind of healing container. What I found was the places that were stuck began to open. Clients would open their eyes at the end of session and find their ability to conceptualize a situation completely changed.
I have chosen to distill this program down into eight chapters, eight sessions, creating a core curriculum of the most potent and necessary explorations which have supported my own process. The theme I have chosen to broadly explore this season is forgiveness.
My hope is that these sessions can be allies for you, a source of community connection and a catalyst towards living as the most free version of you.

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.”- Rumi

THE SCIENCE OF MEDITATION
The benefits of meditation are well-researched and profound.
Meditation enhances emotional intelligence. People with increased emotional intelligence have been found to suffer less subjective stress and experience better health and well-being.
Meditation has been correlated with reduced blood pressure, reduced insomnia, reduced pain, recovery from substance use disorders, management of PTSD symptoms, and improvement of the mental health in people with cancer.
Meditation has been found to improve the severity of depression, anxiety and stress.
It has been proposed that mindfulness meditation may have positive effects on the length of telomeres—a biomarker for the natural aging process.
